The Pink Beds area, near the upper end of the South Fork Mills River.  It's just a creek at this point, having just started high on the Pisgah Ridge as a branch, tumbled down and met with others like it to form the fledgling river.  There are many large trees growing in this area, and when one of them fell across the stream, this innovative bridge was constructed using the fallen log.
