Turning to your right from the previous
image, this is what you see: the Lower Creek valley is in the foreground, and
the point where the railroad grade rounds
Commissary Ridge is in the back left. That is the end point for this
hike, though the railroad grade keeps on going.
These power line right-of-ways provide spectacular views (minus
the lines themselves).
As you can see, this railroad grade remains
fairly level as it dips into coves and rounds the ends of the
ridges. Other trails come and go from both sides - and
change the name of the path you're hiking on - but keep going
straight for this hike!
