As you re-gain the ridgeline after looping around the campground, you reach this intersection.  Turn right to head to the summit.  Going left will take you into the campground shortly.  The forest here is mostly dead Fraser Firs. However, there are many small firs sprouting to take their place.  The park road is just behind the stand of dead trees.
