Just after you start up the second section of relocated trail, a split-rail fence has been constructed to keep hikers out of the most eroded, sensitive area near the stream (Yellowstone Prong), near where you see a tent in this photo. Don't worry - a little further along, a spur trail heads left down to the stream, so people can still enjoy the creek like they always have, if they wish. The difference now is that the bulk of the main hiker traffic is taken away from that area, and it should allow the erosion conditions to improve.
