Turn around from where I was standing to take the previous photo, walk down the trail a few feet, and you get to this spot. The old trail, leading left here, is again closed, and a new section leads off to the right into the fields above the flat area through which it used to travel. The old, eroded trail used to drop off a large, tricky rock just out of this photo. Now, it is covered with brush and sod to allow it to be repaired naturally. See the next photo to continue!
