View of Graveyard Fields, Graveyard Ridge and (to the left) Black Balsam Knob from the Parkway overlook & parking area for this hike. Yellowstone Prong,  the headwaters for the Big East Fork Pigeon River, starts in a patch of spruce and fir trees just to the left of Black Balsam Knob from here as a marshy seep.
